The Bus Monitor (where assigned) or the Bus Driver bring an iPad of any size with cellular connectivity + GPS onboard the bus or to its entry door. Please note that the Android version of our solution will be available for the January 2020 semester

Through a simplified user-friendly interface on the iPad, the Bus Monitor (where assigned) or the Bus Driver quickly and accurately take attendance of their assigned student riders, throughout each student’s transportation day. All user input (including Parent signatures at Drop Off and Pick Up locations, where applicable) is instantly captured, stored locally on the iPad and securely uploaded to the cloud for custom report generating and archiving purposes

Other features include: input fields for the odometer reading at the beginning and end of each route segment; custom PDF forms, supplied by the program’s administrators, that assist their staff’s management of the transportation privileges of the students, as well as bus maintenance checklists

Through the secure, easy-to-use web-accessed system back-end, assigned Program Administrators easily set up and maintain: Routes with specific Stops; rosters of Students assigned to each of those Stops; the names and contact information of each Student’s Authorized Persons (Parents, Caregivers or others), plus lists of designated Administrators, Bus Drivers and Bus Monitors (where assigned).

Throughout your busy day, wouldn’t it be most comforting to know that your child has successfully entered or exited their assigned bus, to and from the programs they attend, without you having to ask?

So much more than simply being informed where your child’s assigned bus is currently located, our solution is personalized for you and your family, by allowing you to set and maintain a list of Authorized Persons (Parents, Caregivers or others), along with their contact information, who you pre-authorize to drop off and pick up your child at your designated home stop.

The Primary and Secondary Authorized Persons on that list will download our iOS or Android Parent Notification App, to immediately be sent any prescribed notifications.

Because time is of the essence and communication between you and the Program Administrators is essential, Parental Notifications include:

your child has or has not successfully entered and exited the bus at your designated home pick up and dropoff stop and that they did so accompanied by an Authorized Person on your list

your child has or has not successfully exited and/or entered the bus at the program facility they attend (after school, for example), a fact confirmed by the Bus Monitor (where assigned), the Bus Driver or an assigned Program Administrator

your child is safely on the bus at your designated home pick up stop, even though they arrived at the bus unaccompanied or an unAuthorized Person accompanied them to that stop; the Bus Monitor (where assigned) or the Bus Driver will be prompted to enter a note with relevant details into the system

your child is being returned to school because no Authorized Person or an unAuthorized Person arrived at their designated home pickup stop

The Bus Is One Stop Away from your child’s designated home drop off and pick up stop and that it is now timely for your child to be dropped off or picked up at that stop by an Authorized Person. This feature is especially helpful when the weather is poor and/or you are tending to multiple children at the same time  

requires that the Bus Monitor (where assigned) or the Bus Driver follow through and complete the process of double-checking and confirming that, in fact, THE BUS IS EMPTY at the end of each route segment, so no child is left behind in an unattended vehicle  

provides you with the ability to notify the system (and through it the assigned Program Administrators) that your child has an upcoming Pre-Confirmed Absence – a specific AM, PM, a full day or multiple days – please note that when you notify the system of a pending absence in time, it prevents the Bus Monitor (where assigned) or the Bus Driver from marking your child absent, thereby avoiding the circumstance of you being sent a related notification that they were absent
